I haven't been either. Started our TMM, for real, this past October by paying off one of our cars and really doing a budget with both my spouse and I completely on board. My church is about to offer the FPU university. I'm in the same boat as you, do I spend money to learn how to manage my money? I think we are on track so I'd rather save the money.
I'm curious, how is your TMM going? Do you think the My TMM service DaveRamsey.com offers is worth the subscription cost?
Hi Irgche, congrats on getting going on your TMM. Sounds like you're off to a great start. Keep it up!
We're not doing quite as well unfortunately. We've stopped using credit cards and gotten rid of one of our leased cars (we still owe $1,000 on the replacement though). Sadly though we still don't have a budget and haven't done much towards paying down our debt or reducing expenses. I think I need to get back into the book for some inspiration.
I used the online TMMO service for a couple of months. The things I liked the most were the FAQ and if you have time to listen to it, the podcast of the radio show is good for keeping motivated. The budgeting tools are well built and pretty easy to use but like I said, we've had a hard time putting together a budget so they really weren't much use to me.
